Overview
Garrett earned his J.D. with honors from University of St. Thomas School of Law, where he graduated fifteenth in his class. During law school, he served as a Senior Editor of the University of St. Thomas Law Journal and competed in the 2019 Notre Dame National Appellate Advocacy Tournament for Religious Freedom, earning semifinalist placing with his moot court team. Garrett also wrote draft amicus briefs for the Religious Liberty Appellate Clinic at St. Thomas, which were later filed in federal court.
Garrett is particularly interested in constitutional law and religious liberty.
