Mr. Kelley is a well-respected trial attorney who has been involved in several high-profile cases. He successfully represented the plaintiff in La Société Générale Immobilière (LSGI) v. The City of Minneapolis in which a federal jury awarded $34 million to his clients for breach of a municipal development contract. Early in his career as an Assistant U.S. Attorney, he successfully prosecuted Deil Gustafson and Joseph Agosto in a Las Vegas Casino bank fraud deal involving the Mafia. For this effort, Mr. Kelley received the Department of Justice Meritorious Achievement Award.

Even so, many of Mr. Kelley's cases are handled discretely so that his greatest achievements on behalf of clients are known only to the entities involved. Mr. Kelley has successfully represented both individuals and corporations in many areas including mail, wire, bank and health care fraud; RICO; breach of contract and gaming law. He also has expertise in political campaign finance reform and fair election practices.
